Panayiotis Vittis was born in Ammohostos in 1974.

In 1997 he entered the Athens School of Fine Arts with a Greek government scholarship for all the duration of his studies.
He studied under the auspices of Demetres Mytaras. Parallel he attended courses of scene painting, Hagiography, sculpture and photography and he graduated with honors in 2003. In 2004, he won the award of Yiannis Spyropoulos Museum in a Greek competition.
Since 2004, he has been teaching in his own school.
In 2007, he represents Cyprus in the international competition of Modern Art in Helsinki.
In 2008 he takes part in the exhibition of the Pancyprian competition
“Weavings” and was given a commendation.
He also took part in several exhibitions in Cyprus as well as abroad.
Some of his works can be found in private art collection of the school of fine arts in Athens at Yiannis Spyropoulos museum, at the public Libraries of Nicosia and Limassol and other private collections.
